how to help puppy with diarrhea and vomiting?

hello,
i have a puppy who is two months old,she got many ticks when i brought her home, so i used a spray in her to kill those ticks.

but after certain time i noticed that my puppy began vomiting and having diarrhea. i brought her to the vet.

But she is still in a bad condition. help please!!

I don't think the diarrhea and vomiting are not necessarily related to the spray you used on her, but of course they could be.

This is really a situation for your veterinarian as he will need to run some tests to find out whether the symptoms are due to some sort of toxicity, or to a dog illness, such as Canine Parvovirus.

Vomiting and diarrhea cause dehydration which can be very serious in puppies, and if your pup can't keep any water down, he may need IV fluids. If he'll drink, try adding some Gatorade or Pedialyte (made for children) to his water as that helps replace the lost minerals/salts.

Only a vet can help though I'm afraid as a pup who has repeated episodes of vomiting and diarrhea can get very sick very fast. I wish you the best of luck and hope that your puppy makes a full recovery.
