humping

my dachshund is 3 months old and she's humping everything!

This is not terribly unusual, although not all puppies do it. It's often a sign of a dominant personality and at this age isn't a sexual behavior.

Keep her occupied and busy as much as possible, make sure she gets plenty of exercise and has lots of fun toys to play with. This helps to keep her mind off humping and channels her energy more productively!

I would also recommend starting some basic puppy training at home, this will help her to recognize you as the 'leader of the pack'. Also, as soon as she's received all her vaccinations I'd advise enrolling her in a Basic/Puppy Class at a local dog obedience school

Do make sure to correct her with a firm "NO", when she starts 'humping' things, and immediately redirect her attention to her toys or a more allowable activity.
