i think my puppy is sick

by dora
(brownsville)

He started to vomit a lot, then he start to cry a lot like he's in pain. He is just lying down and doesn't seem active.

what should i do? i'm very scared.

Hi Dora
It definitely sounds as though there's a problem.

It could possibly be an intestinal/bowel blockage as your puppy seems to be in pain and is vomiting.

Puppies are inclined to eat all kinds of things that they shouldn't and this can cause trouble if the object/s doesn't pass 'straight through'.

Of course, there are other possibilities, such as illness. Only a veterinarian can make an accurate assessment and diagnosis, so I strongly recommend that you get your puppy to a veterinarian as soon as possible.

Young puppies are vulnerable and can get very sick, very fast, so it's definitely better to be safe than sorry. Please see a vet!

Best of luck, I hope he's feeling better soon.
