Lab puppy born with white dry bumpy scaly patches on tail, ears and paws.

The paws and ears seemed to clear up and hair is growing on then but not on the tail.

I'm afraid I'm not a veterinarian and I don't have any personal experience of this sort of problem.

As your puppy was born with this condition it could be genetic, but I guess it could also have been caused by something in utero.

I can only really recommend that you take this little guy to your own veterinarian for an examination. He/she will be able to figure out what is causing his symptoms and if get any treatment started if necessary.
