Little bump next to pups nose

I just noticed an inch from my dogs nose he has a tiny bump. It had a scab on it but looks like a zit like bump of some sort. Should i be worried about it.

What could it be, my dog is up to date on all vaccines and worm treatments.

I wouldn't worry too much about this just yet, it could be that he scratched or hurt his muzzle on something, or it could be from an insect bite or sting.

These sort of things will generally dry up and scab over and that could be what you're seeing. However, if the area seems red, swollen or is painful to the touch it could have become infected, and you should have your vet take a look at it.

If it doesn't seem painful or infected, you can probably afford to give it a few days and see if the bump just disappears. If it doesn't, it gets bigger, you notice more bumps appearing or there's hair loss on the muzzle then again you should have your vet take a look. There are some skin conditions that can cause little bumps and hair loss, Mange in dogs can do that. If there is a condition of some sort you vet can get him whatever treatment is necessary.
