Little puppy with tons of white worms in poop!!!!

I just bought my puppy tonight, off a lady who seemed nice enough. She said the puppy had one deworming shot, but tonight when i brought it home, it was scooting around the carpet on its butt and then pooped.

The poop was FULLLLL of little white worms, that were squirming around...Does she need to be dewormed again?

Well, it's difficult to tell whether or not she needs to be dewormed again right away, or whether it should wait the usual 3 weeks or so.

IF the lady you bought your puppy from is telling the truth and the puppy has been recently dewormed, then what you describe could just be as a result of that worming. After a puppy's been wormed it will pass a lot of them in it's poop, and occasionally if it was really bad, may vomit worms too.

But, if she's been untruthful to you, this poor little guy could be in real trouble. A lot of worms like this, if left untreated, can cause anemia and other health issues. If you got proof of puppy vaccinations and treatment for worms, such as a veterinary certificate with this pup then you should be okay. If not, definitely see your vet with this puppy asap and explain the situation. He will advise you.
