medications for puppy diarrhea

My puppy has had diarrhea for the past 24 hours....

She has been vet checked and is healthy but we were wondering how much immodium we can give her to help stop the diarrhea.

If your puppy continues to have diarrhea you need to take her back to your vet to find out what is causing it. Puppy diarrhea can be caused by a whole host of things - from eating something he shouldn't to a virus or bacterial illness such as Canine Parvovirus.

I would never recommend giving a pup (or any pet) medication without checking it out with your veterinarian first. Dosage can be tricky, especially for puppies and small dogs and if there is an infection, then an anti-diarrhea medication is not necessarily the way to go.
