Cole is now 11 months old, in the picture he was about 7 months old. He is a lab/shepherd mix.

We had to put our lab mix down due to a inoperable brain tumor in May, the next week we just couldn't bear the void of not having a canine companion. So we went to the Stark County Humane Society in Ohio. They said they had one puppy, we went in looking and didn't see anything, with a broken heart and broken hopes we started to leave when my boyfriend decided to ask.

They took us into the cat section and in a cage curled in the back was this little black puppy so shy and scared he wouldn't come out. We picked him up and held him and that was the end of the story, we immediately adopted him and brought him home.

After months of medical issues, destroyed furniture, shoes and socks, we now still have our 11 month old son that we love with all we have. Cole Andrew
