My 11 day old puppy won't poop!

My 11 day old puppy hasn't been pooping and the mother is constantly licking her to stimulate her to go to the bathroom.

i've noticed the puppy's butt is hard and so i squeezed around it VERY GENTLY and a really light yellow liquid stated coming out her but that had a fishy smell to it.

i've only noticed the puppy poop once. Is this normal?

At this age when a puppy is being nursed by her momma and only drinking milk, it's highly unlikely that she's constipated.

Also, unless you're watching this puppy constantly you would be unlikely to see every time she poops. The momma is licking her to stimulate her urination and bowel movements, and she instinctively cleans these up by eating the poop, sometimes this, and the puppys' pooping happen almost simultaneously.

As long as the pup seems happy and healthy, is warm, chubby and doesn't cry a lot, then chances are she's just fine.
