Last night before I went to bed I noticed my 12wk. old siberian husky had 2 different sized pupils. one seemed abnormally big and the other abnormally small.
But this morning they are both back to normal size. Is she ok or do I need to take her in to the vet?
Hi Kate
I'm afraid this is out of my area of knowledge and I'd definitely say it's a question for a veterinarian.
From what I understand, unevenly sized pupils could indicate a problem in the brain, but it can also be caused by certain medications or substances getting in the eye and other issues. In most cases you'd also expect to see other symptoms in addition to the change in pupil size.
Only a veterinarian could really determine whether this is anything to worry about as your pup now seems fine. I'd recommend a visit to your own vet, or if you want to ask this question of an online professional you can visit my Ask A Vet page.
Good luck, hope your puppy is 100% healthy.
