My 16 wk old puppy has bad dandruff and has bald patches where he is scratching and biting himself

My border is scratching all the time and biting at his skin causing bald patches, what can we do it is causing him to constantly scratch and bite?

The vet said it should clear after a few weeks but it seems to be getting worse...

Only a veterinarian can really make a diagnosis and either treat the issue or give you recommendations that you can follow to help relieve the symptoms.
