my 6 week old pit bull puppy

My pit bull puppy that is 6 weeks old has pus pockets on the outside of his fur what could it be?

Hi Misty
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this, as pus 'pockets' or pustules etc. have to be ON top of the skin, not the fur.

It's impossible for me to say what it is that you're seeing I'm afraid and you need to take your puppy to a veterinarian so that he/she can figure out what's going on.

I'm wondering if perhaps you're seeing ticks on his fur (actually the head would be burrowed into his skin, but the body remains outside)? I wish I could help, but you need a hands-on exam from a professional so have your little guy seen by a vet asap.

Best of luck, hope you get top the bottom of this soon.

Puss Pockets

I have seen something like this before and found out it was infection in the pores from being too dirty/urine on skin. Bathe the pup with an antibacterial hand soap 1-2 times a day and keep bed area clean and dry. Should clear up in 1-2 weeks.
