my 6 week old puppy has a swollen stomach

my new 6 week old puppy has two large lumps at the end of its stomach and each day they have grown larger and i think they are hurting the puppy

Hi Ronan
I would recommend that you take your puppy to your veterinarian as soon as possible and have him take a look to see what the problem is.

I'm not exactly sure where the lumps are, or how they look etc., but it's possible your pup has one (or more) hernias. These are not uncommon. Your vet could make an accurate diagnosis, and it's important that your puppy be examined, especially as he/she seems to be in pain.
