My 9 month old puppy is a bouvier des flandres, we took her on a hike down and up a steep hill to a creek (she's used to hikes) she was acting fine and normal until we got in the car 2 hours later.
Now she's sleeping more than usual, she hasn't been controling her bladder, and when she moved, she was limping, we think her back legs are hurt, also her breathing has slowed down. What does it mean and what should I do?
Hi Christine
You need to get your pup to a veterinarian right away, this could be an emergency.
It's possible that she's over-heated, or been bitten by a snake or some other poisonous creature, or that she's eaten something toxic.
These symptoms mean she's in serious trouble and needs professional help immediately.
I hope that you can get her the help she needs and that she makes a full recovery.
