My chow/rottie started throwing up his dinner and there was a lot of hair in his food, then he threw up again should i worry?
Hi Squirrels
Dogs don't generally get 'hair balls' the way cats do, and it's unusual for them to vomit up hair in this way.
However, your dog is part chow and if he has a very thick coat, grooms himself a lot, or seems to itch, scratch or bite at himself (could be signs of dog allergies) then it's possible that he's swallowed enough hair to make him throw up.
If he vomits again, or seems unwell in any way, I would recommend taking him to your vet for a check up. There may be some underlying health condition that is causing this vomiting and you really need to have him checked out to be on the safe side.
Hope this helps some, best of luck with your dog.
