My Lab pees a lot

I have a 1 month old labrador retriver. She urinates a lot. Every ten mins !!!! . What could be the problem?

Well, at one month old your puppy has no bladder/bowel control, so she pretty much pees or poops whenever she feels the urge.

She won't begin to be able to control these functions, or even 'hold it' for a few minutes until she's about 8 weeks old.

There may be nothing wrong with her, puppies pee A LOT, and at 8 weeks old they need a potty break about every 30 - 60 minutes, all day, and after every nap, meal, drink, playtime etc.

If she only pees a few drops, it seems dark colored, or she licks at vulva excessively, she may have a urinary tract infection, which could require antibiotic treatment. Your vet could diagnose this if you think it may be the problem.
