My puppy isnt going to the bathroom right.....

Okay so this morning i took my yorkie out to do his needs and he couldn't poo and he just couldn't go.

Now i just got home from work and he went and it was runny and gooey and he hasn't been active all day he's been just laying down what do i do????

It definitely sounds as though your puppy isn't feeling well. It may be that he's eaten something he shouldn't have, or it could be that he's sick.

My Puppy Diarrhea page is a good place for you to start. Read it over and it will help you decide what 'kind' of diarrhea your puppy is experiencing.

However, as he seems to be lethargic as well, I would definitely suggest that you call your veterinarian and ask his advice. Diarrhea and lethargy are symptoms of some very serious dog illnesses and it's always better to be safe than sorry.
