my puppy peed himself while laying down

My 17 week old lab/ golden mix male was laying down and urinated.. he did not try to stand up and just stared at me.

I'm concerned it may be a seizure or something else.... he has been potty trained for quite some time now.... he got up after finished and I called him.. he's acting fine now...

should I be concerned or schedule a vet appt?

This isn't normal so I would definitely get your puppy examined by your vet as soon as you can.

There are a couple of reasons this could happen, but only a hands-on examination by a vet can make an accurate diagnosis.

If it was a seizure there would normally be other symptoms or signs as well, but of course it's a possibility.

Or it could be an infection, a nerve problem or other things. Get your pup to your vet so that you can find out for sure what's causing the problem and get any treatment that may be necessary.
