My rat terrier was fine one minute and the next was off balance and acting really weird.
The next morning the balance seemed better but is very sleepy and not active as usual....
Hi Jamie
Any sudden change in behavior needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian and I can only really recommend that you get your pup to your veterinarian so that you can find out what's causing these symptoms.
There are all sorts of possibilities including low blood sugar, ingesting something toxic or poisonous, an illness, neurological problem... and so on.
I'm not a vet and it's impossible to make any kind of informed opinion as to what's going on, but obviously there's something wrong and you need to find out what it is.
Your vet can make an accurate diagnosis and if any treatment is needed you can get it taken care of. It could be something very simple and not serious, but there's no way to tell so please get your Terrier to your vet asap.
Best of luck, hope he's doing much better soon.
