My staffy pup is covered with a rash and is losing fur and the whites of her eyes are red.

Can someone tell me what I can do until I can take her to the vet?

Your staffy needs to be seen by a veterinarian right away and until you get a professional diagnosis of the problem there really isn't anything you can do to help her. And she needs help.

A rash, hair loss and red eyes could be caused by allergies, and you can find out more about these on my Dog Allergies page. It could also be caused by a skin problem such as those caused by tiny skin mites. Staffy's are a breed that can be predisposed to Canine Mange, which is caused by mites.

There are also other issues that could cause these symptoms.

Only your veterinarian can make a diagnosis though and tell you what needs to be done to help your poor dog feel better. So, please get her to your vet right away so that she can get on the road to recovery.
