my three week old puppys' eye is shut but the other is open

my three week old puppies eyes were both open two days ago and now it won't open one of them.

it looks a little bigger than the other one and don't look red or to watery but i know something is wrong with it what is it? and what should i do for it?






Hi Melissa
You need to take this little guy to your veterinarian and let him/her examine the eye. If it was open previously and now isn't then there's a problem.

It could be that there's an infection on the eye itself, or under the lid, a blocked duct, an injury to the eye, or a build up of fluid/pressure behind the eye. Left untreated, any of these could become very serious, and result in the loss of sight in that eye or worse.

There's nothing you can do yourself, he needs to be examined by your vet, and as soon as possible.
