my3 week old puppy has one eye open and one shut

My puppies are nearly 4 weeks old. They are all growing nicely, eating, and happy. Mother and father have no health issues. I own both parents.

All the puppies have both eyes open except one, He has one open. I am worried that there may be a problem. Is this normal? Does this happen and you just have to wait? Is there something I should do.

They will be going to the vet in a couple weeks so should I take the one now or wait until their appointment? We have had other litters and this is the first time this has happened.

At this age the puppies should have their eyes open, and it's not normal for a pup to have one eye remain closed.

It could be that this little guy has an infection of some sort that had 'glued' the eye shut, or there could be something else wrong.

I'd definitely take him to your vet for an examination as soon as you can. You need to find out why this eye hasn't opened and see if he needs any treatment.
