My new puppy is not eating and always sleeping.

She has no energy, and she threw up twice, it's been 2 days with out eating..

Hi Kevin
I'd strongly recommend that you take this little girl to your veterinarian for a check up right away.

Although it can be normal for a new puppy to lose their appetite, sleep more than usual, and generally seem a bit 'sad or depressed' for the first few days in a new home, they don't generally throw up. You can read more about what to expect in the first week or so here... Bringing Home A New Puppy.

HOWEVER, there are many contagious dog illnesses that puppies are vulnerable to before they have had all their vaccinations, and Canine Parvovirus is one of them. This is a very serious, often fatal, illness whose main symptoms are lethargy, vomiting and diarrhea. It's important to rule out this, and any other health condition, immediately.

If your pup is drinking water and keeping that down it's a plus, but if she can't or won't drink or vomits it back up again she is at serious risk of dehydration which is dangerous in itself.

All in all, she needs to be evaluated by a vet as soon as possible so please get her seen now. I wish you the best of luck and hope that she's doing much better soon.
