Nursing puppy is vomiting

4 1/2 weeks still nursing. vomiting and won't nurse. What should I do?

A puppy of this age should be eating puppy food and lapping water as well as nursing, if the momma still allows it.

Any pup who is vomiting, and won't/can't eat or drink, needs to see a vet as soon as possible. Young puppies can get dehydrated very quickly, and this alone can cause some serious problems.

It's also possible that the pup has caught one of the contagious canine illnesses or diseases that pups are susceptible to. Perhaps even Parvo.

It's always better to be safe than sorry with puppies, and I would strongly recommend that you have take this puppy to a vet. I wish you the best of luck with him.
