Ohio State's Littlest Fan

Buckeye!

Buckeye!

Buckeye is the cutest, sweetest, most well--behaved Pomeranian puppy!

He is only 5 months old and is already completely trained. He absolutely LOVES everyone he meets and LOVES to give kisses to anyone. He is full of energy and does not sleep very often. He wakes up his family at 3 in the morning just to play.

Buckeye came into our lives this past Christmas. He was bought by my boyfriend, Mike, as my Christmas present. He was purchased from what we thought at the time was a reputable breeder. However, only after 2 days, Buckeye became very sick. He had a multitude of health problems. After a few emergency visits to the vet, Buckeye was happier and healthier than ever before.

He was named after the Ohio State University Buckeyes, his favorite college football team to watch. He is a very social puppy and is also very active and energetic. On the rare occasion you do find him sleeping, it is in his football shaped bed, usually with his paws up in the air. His favorite toy is his stuffed Elmo, which he carries around the house from room to room.

He loves other animals and gets along well with other dogs. If you're sleeping and he wants to play, look out. He will jump up on the bed and lick your face over and over again until you get up, no matter what time of the morning it is.

He deserves to be the puppy of the month for a number of reasons. His personality and love for others are the 2 biggest reasons. However, he is also a rare Pom. Black poms are hard to find, especially ones with blue eyes. He is sweet, fun, and impossible not to love.
