ONE PUP BORN

Is it strange for a 2year old bitch to have 1 pup. it is white with black markings on his ears and tail.

Well, it's fairly unusual for a dog to give birth to only one puppy, but it happens sometimes.

She may only have mated once, perhaps outside of her most fertile time. The number of puppies a dog whelps, tends to run in families to an extent.

If she was one of a small litter, it may be in her genes to carry small litters.

As long as both she and her pup are healthy I wouldn't worry about it.
