Pit Bull Puppies dieing. yellow discharge from the mouth and butt

i'm not sure what's going on with my friend's pit bull puppies. they are about 4-5 weeks old and they are starting to die off. he said that when he went over to there cage that the puppies had a yellow discharge coming from the mouth and the rectum area.

i myself took in one of those puppies and am scared that somethings' going to happen to him. what do you think this could be?

It's impossible for me to say what's wrong with these puppies I'm afraid. The symptoms they have suggest that they're suffering from diarrhea and vomiting, which can be caused by a huge number of different dog illnesses and only a vet can make an accurate diagnosis.

As several of the pups have died it is almost certainly contagious, and whether or not your pup gets sick isn't certain - it depends on whether he was still with the other pups when they were sick and whether or not he was infected.

The only thing I can suggest (strongly suggest), is that you take your pup to your vet for a full examination - including a fecal test to check for bacteria and/or parasites. This is the best way to protect your little guy.
