pit bull puppy vomiting

I have a pit that is about a year old he is vomiting bile and possibly feces.

I gave him some water and fed him some carrots and he vomited those up right, away any advice?

Hi
It's always difficult to answer this sort of question, as puppy vomiting can be caused by so many different things, and can be minor or serious.

If your pup vomits more than twice, can't keep food or water down, and/or shows any other signs of dog illnesses, such as lethargy, diarrhea, fever etc., then he needs to be seen by a veterinarian right away.

Pitbulls are one of the breeds that are especially vulnerable to Canine Parvovirus which can kill a young puppy. Until he's had all his ,a href="http://www.the-puppy-dog-place.com/puppy-shots.html">puppy shots he's going to be at risk of catching this, or other, canine diseases.

If your pup seems happy and healthy and active, and the vomiting doesn't re-occur, chances are he just ate something he shouldn't and all is well. However, as I said above if he shows any other signs of illness, or the vomiting continues, get him to a vet asap.

Best of luck with your pup, hope he's doing much better soon.
