Problems with puppy shots

I gave my Yorkie her 2nd set of puppy shots a couple hours ago, now she is panting and lethargic.

Many puppies have a mild reaction to their puppy shots. Lethargy, a low grade fever, loss of appetite and pain/swelling at the site of the injection are the most common symptoms.

Swelling, particularly of the face/head/muzzle or difficulty breathing are signs of a much more serious reaction.

I'm afraid I'm not a vet, but in my personal opinion you should definitely talk to your vet about this reaction. He/she may want to examine your puppy to make sure all is well. It's always better to be safe than sorry, especially in such a tiny breed pup.
