As the owner of Rottweilers, a breed that suffers more than it's fair share of cancers, I was very intrigued and interested to read about Ted Schneck and his ride across America to raise money to help owners whose dogs are suffering through the agonies of this horrible disease.

In honor of his dog Marty, who died last year from cancer, Ted is riding over 4,000 miles this summer to raise money for charities that help dog owners who couldn't otherwise afford it pay for their dog's cancer care.

An amazing effort and I'm certain Marty is watching his 'dad' proudly from beyond the Rainbow Bridge.
