Hello, just wanted to update you on my shorkie puppy, lola. She's now about a month and a week and her eyes opened and her respitory infection is gone. However, she was born with only one eye and its stuck looking to the left, so she's taking some steroids to try and correct this. the vet wants to see her every few weeks up till she's 6 months to watch how she develops. she's also got a very large soft spot on her head and an enlarged vulva. Do you know what the cause of this could be? When she was born, she had a sister born right before her and that puppy wasn't fully developed; her skull wasn't fully formed...so i'm thinking lola's eye problems probably come from that. But what could cause the enlarged vulva? its been like that since she was much smaller.
