This must have been what a neighbor's little girl had. Years ago the 5 year-old girl had a job of changing the water bowl for the dogs outside. Other dogs in the neighborhood could drink out of it, too. She got very sick and had to go to the doctor. Her mother said something about her not washing her hands enough.
