Puppy going to the bathroom?

How often should puppy have to go to the bathroom?

An 8 week old puppy may need to go outside to potty every 30 mins to an hour during the day.

If crated at night, and his water is withheld after about 7:30 - 8pm, he/she should be able to 'hold it' for several hours - needing only one, possibly two breaks over the night time hours.
