puppy peeing

My puppy has a hard time peeing outside, but then as soon as I bring her in, she pees on the carpet.

Why won't she just go outside?

I think your pup simply doesn't understand that she's supposed to only pee or poop outside yet!

Puppies are creatures of habit and learn through repetition, so it's important to be very consistent and clear when teaching them what is expected.

I would recommend using a crate for housebreaking purposes as it is the easiest and quickest method and has the added advantage of eliminating the majority of opportunities for your pup to make a 'mistake' indoors.
