Second Night Home

Blitzkrieg is a German Shepherd/Boxer/Lab mix puppy that our family adopted from a shelter 3 weeks ago. He was 8 weeks old, and now he is 10 weeks old. He and our Jack Rat Terrier, Suzie, get along well, and he has taken to her like a stepmother figure, but at times, more like a delinquent sister whom he loves to harass.

Though Blitz was the runt of his litter, he's the king of my heart. At night when he sleeps, he'll cuddle as close as he can get to me, and curl into a ball in the nape of my neck. Blitz is my little king, and I can't wait for him to grow up big and protective of his family.

Envionmental Pup

Our puppy is named Basil. We both love the herb so much we thought this would be the best name for her. She is nearly 4 months old and too cute.

Everywhere we go people fall in love with her and she is always excited to meet new people. Whether she is on the ground or in your arms her tail wags as fast as it can and she smiles and wants to lick you. She already knows many tricks and is a great listener, unless she finds something too good to ignore. I mean eat. Our little vacuum.

She is also a flying squirrel, jumping off ledges, stairs, and park benches. A kangaroo, when she pulls on her lead, jumping on two back feet, to get somewhere faster. She is overall sweet with her curly hair and the longest lashes any girl has ever had.

Chewy is a male St. Bernard, named after the Star Wars character Chewbacca. I didn't realize how fitting that name would be until I lost a few pairs of shoes!!

In this picture of Chewy he is about 3 months old, now Chewy is 8 months old and 100 lbs. It's amazing what 5 months can do!! He is a very active puppy, we go on two 4 mile walks everyday (morning and night), he loves to play fetch and has even learned to throw the ball in the air to himself!

After his day full of activities, he is a big teddy bear! He loves to cuddle, mostly with mommy, and when he sleeps he also earns his nickname "Snore-a-potomus".

Bruce is my name playing is my game!

We just got our little guy Bruce 3 days ago. He is only 5 weeks old. He is part teacup chihuahua/miniature rat terrier and miniature pomeranian!

It's a little hard to come up with things about him since we have had him in such a short period of time. He loves to snuggle and when he get in his throwed together bed he will find the deepest corner to curl up in it. Our other baby Peanut (half toy pomeranian/toy chihuahua) not so sure of Bruce yet. But when they do play Bruce is the brave one and Peanut is the runner. Bruce won't give up either. Peanut having been our only baby for almost 2 years now may not understand this tiny little thing chasing him all over the livingroom but today he shared his treat with him. Bruce is a very happy little guy. My Peanut only weighs 6lbs. I am getting anxious to find out how much Bruce weighs.

We just feel blessed to have the two sweetest and intelligent babies around.

Mowgli turned 8 weeks old on May 6 and came home to live with his new owners in Vermont. He is a puggle and is happy, sweet and cuddly.

Bella is a 7 month old Jack Russel, this photo was taken when she was 4 months old. She is a bundle of energy and has the best temperament a dog could have.

I love you Mommy!

Little Zuke was a rescue puppy who had quite a rough start to life. The poor guy was dumped on the side of a busy road and somehow managed not to be hit by a car. When he was found by his foster Mommy, he was so covered in fleas that she didn't realize he had white fur; his back paws were swollen and blistered from fire ant bites; and he was malnourished.

His foster Mommy got the fleas off him and worked on getting his paws healed up. A week later my husband and I found our cute little boy on craigslist. When we saw him for the first time it was love at first sight.

Since then Zuke has gained weight and is a happy, healthy pup. He comes to work with me four days a week and has "Daddy days" every Thursday.

He is the sweetest puppy you can imagine. Zuke loves to give kisses and follow us around. He loves meeting new people and enjoys playing with other dogs and cats.

We are so proud to be Zuke's "forever Mommy and Daddy!"

Cooper is the cutest boston around, with more personality than his daddy and I put together. My husband and I adopted him at 6 weeks and he is now 9 weeks. It's remarkable how quickly Cooper has become part of our family.

We are truly blessed to have such an amazing puppy in our lives. He has brought us more happiness then we could have ever imagined. Cooper's favortite toy is his rubber donut that his Aunt Neetu gave him.

He loves belly rubs, riding in the car, his vet Dr. Carville, taking long naps on your shoulder, and more than anything... his family.

The first day Howard was with us.

On occasion, our puppy would only -visit- our home, due to the fact that our landlord didn't allow pets in our apartment complex. Howard was originally a friend's pooch, but the "friend" turned Howie into the pound, due to the lack of time and space for this fuzzy ball of joy.

So, in good conscience, I woke up at 4:30 am the next day, just to stake out the Adoption Center, be first in line, and get dibs on Howie. The problem was, we weren't technically allowed to have Howie stay with us, (even overnight.) So yes, as crazy as we were about him, we searched for a new place to stay.

Howie stayed at a family member's home during the next few weeks of moving and planning. Next thing you know, Howie was mine, and I can honestly say that he is to be acclaimed as the cutest dog I've ever laid eyes on.

Yes, perhaps I'm biased, but according to on-lookers at the dog beach in Huntington, Howard is indeed a cute pup.

It did not take long to fall in love with this little guy. He was out playing on the floor when I arrived and he ran to me. He melted my heart with those cute eyes and the little fur ball he was. He is a happy little Yorkiechon who weighed 3.8 pounds.

He has a great personality and loves to play. He's an expert at potty training and very few accidents in the house. He will ring the little bell I placed at the door to let me know when he has to go out. He knows what treats are and will spin and sit to get the treat.

He was purchased in Pennsylvania and we flew to Florida where he now lives only one week after I got him. He has his own car seat in the back seat of the car that allows him to see out or lay down.

I suffer from depression, my husband helped me find a dog so I would not be alone while he is at work.

He found these puppies call pomeagle they are part beagle and pomeranian . I went to look at the puppies I asked if there was a runt in the bunch, they handed me my puppy he was so cute I fell in love with him.

I call him Robin Hood because he stole my heart. Since I got my puppy I don‘t cry as much. However, when I do cry my puppy licks my tears and whines with me.

Chase was an Easter gift. He was born the day after Valentines Day, so he is almost 3 months old.

As you can see, the toy is almost bigger than him.

Blaze is an amazingly affectionate little man. He is a Pomeranian - and tiny! He is affectionately referred to as 'Rabbit' in our household, as no-one can take his size seriously for a dog (e.g. "feed the rabbit! catch the rabbit!").

His favorite pastime is stealing items of my fathers clothing and running underneath the sofa to chew them.

When I arrive home, he gets so excited he doesn't know what to do with himself! He runs in circles and bounces around like a fur-covered basketball.

Blaze jumps up and barks hilariously at many oddities, despite the fact that we wouldn't be able to defend me against a fly let alone an intruder! The kid has guts.

Wallie is a 9 week old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She was dropped off to a shelter in Austin when she was only 7 weeks old, and immediately scooped up by Austin Dog Alliance, a local rescue group.

I found her the day she was dropped at the shelter and went directly to the Adoption Group and was able to bring her home the next week. She is an adorable and fun loving Corgi that enjoys being outdoors and saying hello to anyone that comes her way.

Her favorite toys are her Kong Ball (with stuffing of course), Skinneeez Sutffing Free Dog Toy, and her tennis ball.
