He is 9 months old. He was born on December 30, 2010. I got him from a breeder when he was 3 and 1/2 months old. When he saw me he readily came to me.

He is such a loving, affectionate, friendly, smart and fun-loving puppy. He loves sharing french fries with me and my husband. When he hears a knock, he runs towards the door because he knows that it is a delivery of his favorite french fries!

He brings joy and laughter to my husband and I. If you see him you will fall in love with him at once just like I did when I first saw him at the breeder's house.

Hi, my name is Ian and I am ten years old and a 5th grader at Murphy Elementary School in High Ridge, Missouri. I usually play pokemon, but one day I asked my mom for a puppy. And, she said yes.

We looked on the internet for puppies and when I saw her photo I said she was the one. We waited for three weeks before we got her. My mom kept asking me to read about puppy care. I didn't want to, but I did. When we picked her up the breeder told me her birthday was July 31st and that "maggie" was a purebred Australian Heeler. Then we took her home.

I decided to name her Chloe because that is my favorite name. She has a great personality, and is fun and feisty! She jumps on her pet "duck" when she is excited and when she is not playing with me, she plays with a blue rubber chewbone.

She also has a white spot on the middle top of her tail. She is my first puppy and I love her. My twin brother takes care of her, when I need a puppy break.

I am glad I read about puppy care!

When I went away to a medical school in Chicago, my husband and I decided to get a puppy. When I went to the breeder's house, there were a few puppies but Mika was the one who ran up to me as soon as I walked up the driveway and that's how I knew that she was the one.

This is Oliver, a 4 month old Whoodle (Wheaten terrier Poodle cross)and my little bundle of pure joy! He loves to go for walks, play fetch, cuddle on the couch and LIVES for the dog park where he loves to play with all of the big dogs! (Dobermans, pitbulls, you name it!)

Despite being as sweet as pie and a wee little thing (he's about 17lbs now at 5 mos), Oliver is a feisty little fighter too. Two weeks after I brought him home from the breeder he became very ill, as I woke up one morning to find him dehydrated from vomiting and so weak he was unable to move. The vet told me he likely caught a virus and may not live so I left him at the hospital for an overnight stay. Thankfully, my little guy made a speedy recovery in days and the only indication he'd been sick was a shaved neck and right leg (I only thinks it makes him cuter).

I am so thankful that he was able to make it through so I can enjoy this happy, lively little pup. He brings me so much joy every single day and I suspect others, judging by the number of people who stop to talk and comment on our daily walks :)

I'm a little bit country. I'm a little bit rock and roll!

Bella is a 4 week old puppy who is sweet funny smart and absolutely adorable. Her real mom is a labrador retriever, and her daddy is half german shepard and half bulldog.

She was in a group of five puppies that were going to be shot, but her mommy's friend saved them and gave them to good homes. Luckily, her mommy fell in love with her and took her home immediately.

She loves to chase her kitty friends around the house and loves to play tug of war. She is very young, but already knows not to go potty where she shouldn't and not to bite too hard when playing. Her favorite place is to snuggle in between mommy and daddy while they are watching tv or playing on the computer and fall right to sleep. She finds many weird positions to fall asleep in, but it doesn't matter as long as mommy and daddy are near so she feels safe. She is very loving and LOVES hugs and kisses.

She is very lucky to have been saved, but her mommy and daddy feel like they are the lucky ones for having such a great puppy to raise and love.

She's the best and definitely deserves to win puppy of the month! :D

Pierre is a French Bulldog. He was born July 19, 2011 but does not like to be called a baby.

I had a labrador retriever named Amos who was 100+lbs. But I also have yorkies who are 4lbs or less.

Amos was raised right along side my yorkies so he thought he was as small as they are and on the other hand they thought they were as big as he was. My Izzy had a Parti Yorkie puppy and Amos just loved when there were puppies.

I took this picture one day and it is my favorite picture ever of my dogs. Amos passed away in April of this year during a storm. We miss him dearly.

So, i bottle fed her for a couple of weeks. It really bonded us. I had also taken 1 brother and 1 sister and found them good homes. We get them all together frequently so they can play.

Lily

Lily was basically abandoned with her mom and her 16 brothers and sisters. One of her brothers even died before being rescued. The others were malnourished.

At five weeks old, Lily weighed only 2 pounds. Thankfully, a neighbor saw them and called for help. I adopted Lily on September 10, 2011.

She is a curious and loving pup! She loves long walks and classical music. Whenever we go outside, people always stop to ask about her beautiful spots. I can't wait for her to get a little bit older, so I can take her to the dog park and on runs with me.

Although training her is a lot of work, I cannot wait to hurry home to her each day after work!

She is just so fun and cute!

She loves to cuddle, play tug of war, learn new tricks, drink plenty of water and most of all she loves bathing and pools, she will do anything to have a bath even if it means trying to join you.

Her favorite toy is a tooth brush and it really helped prevent her from chewing on fingers (along with shoes and house hold items)and the tooth brush is replaced anytime it looks like it is getting in bad condition!

She won't wear clothes but she likes a little bling on her collar.

Grommit the Dog

This adorable little bundle was abandoned at the wildlife rehab center where I work.

We have no idea what breed he is, but could contain parts of basset hound, beagle, labrador and/or pitbull. He is growing fast and may reach an adult weight of 55 pounds!

Grommit is a spunky little puppy who enjoys tearing the stuffing out of his toys and annoying his big brother (13 year old Dakota).

Although he was unexpected, Grommit has found his way into our hearts and is spoiled rotten.
