puppy throwing up,diarrhea, not eating or drinking

my mixed-breed terrier puppies are 10 wks old and are not eating or drinking. they are throwing up and have diarrhea very bad. they are losing weight.

is it possible they have worms and can i worm them while they are sick?

It's very likely that your puppies have worms as pretty much all puppies do, but the symptoms you describe are very unlikely to be due to this.

I would guess that they have one of the more serious, contagious dog illnesses that puppies are vulnerable to. Either Canine Parvovirus or Coccidiosis are two distinct possibilities.

DO NOT give these little guys any medication or dewormer without having them fully examined by your vet first. They need professional help immediately and probably antibiotics and maybe IV fluids if they are to recover. Without help they could die.

Please get them to a vet just as quickly as you can. I wish you the best of luck and hope that they recover.
