Puppy Too Warm?

Why is my Shih Tzu puppys' tummy and nose always so warm?

Puppies are often hot little bundles! Their temperature regulating 'equipment' doesn't function very well until their about a month old.

A dogs temperature is naturally higher than a humans and should be between 100.5 and 102F.

If your puppy seems healthy and happy, I wouldn't worry about his hot tummy. Best of luck.
