Puppy vomiting black stuff

I have a 9 month old havanese puppy, he vomited black stuff today. He occasionally throws up but never black stuff.

Should I be worried?

I would definitely recommend taking your puppy to your veterinarian for evaluation. Black colored vomit could indicate the presence of blood and this needs to be checked out quickly.

Of course, there are other possibilities depending on what your pup has eaten etc., but although I wouldn't panic about this I would absolutely have him examined by your vet so that you know what is going on.
