Puppy waking up early

Our labrador puppy of 8 months wakes us up between 4.30-5.30 every day - she sleeps in our room; she bangs her paw on the bed, starts moaning. she can last about 30 minutes after we tell her to be be quiet etc.

we take her out, she does a pee , comes back then waits for her food at 7. how can we get her to sleep later? we have tried taking water away at 8 pm, she has a walk around 11 pm. thanks from tired parents|!

Hi
The only thing I can really suggest is to crate your pup overnight. That way she will try really hard to 'hold it' until you let her out, and you can gradually extend the time you leave her until she's waking up a bit later.

If she's able to walk around etc., she is likely to pee when she needs to, whether she's outdoors or not. You could also try taking her water away a bit earlier, maybe 7pm. That may buy you an extra 30 minutes in the morning.

I know this must be very tiring, but puppies are like little children and tend to be early risers. She will improve as she gets older, but that takes time!
