puppy walks wobbly

My 7 week old lab seems to wobble when he walks, should I be worried about his hips?

At 7 weeks old many puppies are clumsy or awkward and can wobble, even fall over when running or playing. The bigger breeds tend to suffer from this more than the tiny ones.

I wouldn't worry about his hips yet, but if he shows any signs of pain or weakness in his rear legs, has difficult getting up from a lying down position, or you hear any 'clicking' as he walks, then ask your vet to examine his hips.

However, at this age it's very difficult to diagnose a hip problem unless it's very severe, so I'd try not to be too concerned right now and wait and see if your pup becomes more coordinated as he grows.
