Why does my 8 week old puppy have runny poop with blood in it?

If your puppy has diarrhea or loose stools with blood in them, he needs to see a veterinarian right away.

This sort of diarrhea could indicate a serious illness such as Parvo.

A young puppy can get very sick, very quickly and repeated diarrhea and/or vomiting can cause him to get dehydrated.

I'd strongly recommend a visit to the vet asap. Best of luck.
