Puppy with glazed over eye that is weeping

My 7 month old puppy seems to have a glazed over left eye which constantly weeps, is there anything to be worried about?

Yes, there could most definitely be something here to be concerned about. It's not normal for a puppy's eye (or the eye of any person or animal) to appear 'glazed' or to weep repeatedly.

It's possible that he has an infection or an injury of some sort and you need to get your veterinarian to take a look at his eye just as soon as possible.

Antibiotics may be needed to clear up any infection whatever the cause. Left untreated it's possible that this could become a more widespread and serious problem, even affecting his sight long term.

So, please have your puppy checked out by your veterinarian asap. Best of luck, hope he's doing much better soon.
