puppy with hurt leg

my puppy is 1-2 months old he jumped down from a chair and when he landed he hurt his front right leg at the joint.

he can't put weight on and he is limping, the joint is swollen my husband and i have put ice on it and massaged the joint, we can touch his leg without him crying but if we move his leg at all he whimpers and cries a lot .

what else can we do to help him?

You need to take this little guy to your veterinarian as he could have seriously hurt his leg!

You've done the right thing to ice it and to rest it, but it could be fractured or broken, even dislocated at the joint, and that needs professional veterinary help.

Left untreated he could be in serious trouble and right now is in a lot of pain, so please get him to your vet right away.
