puppy's mouth making clicking sound?

why sometimes my puppy makes a constant 'clicking sound' when he opens his mouth to breathe?is it due to the summer heat*,an allergy or its common,specially in a puppy when they r going through so many growth changes? ?

*i prefer not to keep him in an 'AC' room(but in 1 with a normal ceiling fan)
+he is normally v energetic/active,sleeps,drinks and eats well!

and m def making a trip to my vet this eve....
