puppy's stomach is making strange sounds

Hi,
My 3 month old chihuahua puppy's stomach is making strange sounds and she is refusing her food and treats. She ate a normal meal this afternoon.

Could she have an upset stomach?

Yes, she could very easily have an upset tummy. Puppies tend to get into all sorts of things they shouldn't, and generally consider everything edible until proven otherwise!

If she's had all her puppy shots and seems happy and healthy otherwise, then I think you can afford to give her these symptoms 24 hours and see if they're self-limiting (as in most cases of 'dietary indiscretions').

However, if she is vomiting or has diarrhea, seems generally unwell, or her symptoms get worse, then it's a good idea to have a vet take a look at her to make sure there's nothing more serious going on.
