Sargeant Farkle: Small but Mighty

Sarge (his nickname) in a matter of weeks has lit up my life. I was not a dog lover, but recently my cat, Sootie, passed on and my husband thought it would be a good idea to get a dog. I hesitated because I am so afraid of dogs but after researching many breeds it seems that a Puggle would be my best bet.

I am a true believer of an animal picking you out instead of us picking them out so when I contacted the breeder the only request I had was that I have a male Puggle. She brought the male Puggles to me and within seconds my husband and I knew we have an additional to our family.

As you can tell from the picture, Sarge loves the camera. He actually poses when he sees the camera. He also loves to get dressed up.

Sarge, has not only captured our hearts, he has made an effect on others. Whenever we walk into a place with Sarge, people immediately come to him and he embraces each and every one of them back. He is the friendliest dog I have ever encountered. A woman from PetSmart said that she sees dogs everyday but when Sarge comes in she cannot help but want to hold him and bring him everywhere with her. She actually takes him when we come in and we get him back when we are done shopping. The mighty part comes from his strength. He is a BULL. He can carry things 3x the size of him.

As I said, Sarge has really changed our lives. He is the cutest, lovable, smart (he already does tricks and he is only 6 weeks old), and strongest dog for being so small. If you ever get the chance to meet him, you will see what I, and everyone who meets him, is talking about.
