second shot causing reaction in puppy

our puppy got her second shot yesterday and today she is having a hard time walking and she is crying.

called the vet and they said to give her a baby aspirin. is there any thing else we should do?

Having some type of reaction to puppy shots is actually pretty common, and it sounds as though this isn't too severe... just painful for her and upsetting for you.

Baby aspirin should help with the discomfort and other than that just let her rest and give her lots of TLC, but if it's painful for her to be picked up or carried etc. avoid that as much as you can.

These type of reactions generally only last a few days. They most often occur when the second or subsequent shots are given, not the first round.
