shaking puppy

8 week old cockapoo. took him home yesterday. went to the vet yesterday and had first shots. kept with same food. diarrhea, soft, chocolate, more than at breeders.

was fine until i bathed him in warm water. hasn't stopped shaking. i am holding him, he is dry. he stops and starts. i keep calmly petting him and talking in soothing voices.




Hi Sandy
It sounds as though your little guy is just really scared and anxious. He's had a lot of changes during the last few days and that can cause a build up of stress and anxiety in puppies.

I doubt there's anything really wrong health-wise here as you don't mention any symptoms of illness and so on. Just give him lots of love, but allow him the space to adjust to his new world in his own time.

If you're concerned about his health though, and he doesn't improve, or seems to get more upset or shaky, I would recommend talking to your vet about it. He should be able to give you more advice.
