5 week old puppy has worms had 3 days worth medicine in 3 days, has been pooing worms out, but has slept most of today, is staying in his crate and been shaking?

Most puppies have worms and it's important to have them dewormed, BUT only use a product that has been given, or prescribed, by your veterinarian. Over the counter products are generally not effective and can have serious, even dangerous, side effects.

If this dewormer wasn't prescribed or given by a vet I strongly recommend that you stop using it and get your pup to your vet for a check up asap.

If it is a vet-advised medication, then I'd continue with your vets' instructions but call him/her and explain the worries that you have and how your pup is behaving.

Some pups do have a reaction to deworming meds and may have loose stools, seem lethargic, or vomit. As your pup is also shaking it would seem that he's feeling pretty unwell and I really advise you to talk to your vet as soon as you can.
